LORE HEY THERE, THEY CALL ME ARIEL AND I'M CURRENTLY 17 YEARS OLD. I'M A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AND I'M STRAIGHT. ------------------------------------------------- Appearance: She has a petite figure and stands at 5'5". She changes up her hairstyle a lot but likes to keep her side bangs so she can have something to hide behind when she's feeling too shy or embarrassed. She's always changing up her style because she can't seem to ever find a favorite. Personality: Ariel is shy which causes people to think that she's stuck-up. That isn't the case at all. In fact, Ariel used to be outgoing and friendly, but every time she'd think she'd become friends with someone, they'd act like she didn't exist. She's never had a best friend no matter how hard she tried. So she doesn't give her heart and trust to just anyone, so it's a special thing when she does. She's very kind, trustworthy, and a great listener. She always likes to help people, although she has a hard time solving her own problems. She hates conflict and will do whatever it takes to avoid them. She likes to sing, dance, and act. She can play violin and guitar and even writes, but never gives herself credit. But she wants to find some friends who she can feel comfortable enough with to express her thoughts verbally well.) • • Weaknesses: • Doesn't like to have her "space" invaded • Extreme dislike of conflict • Strong need to receive praise and positive affirmation (But when she receives it, she denies it.) • Reacts very emotionally to stressful situations • Has difficulty scolding others and sticking up for herself (Unless someone is being mean to someone she loves or teases her about a project she's working on.) • Reserved about expressing her feelings • Perfectionist • Blames herself for most problems, and holds a lot on her own shoulders History: She was born and raised on her parents' ranch in Nashville, Tennessee until she was seventeen and her dad got into a car accident. The accident paralyzed him from the waist down so he could no longer herd cattle. The money kept getting shorter from medical bills and no work, so Ariel's mom soon got fed up and had an affair, then divorced her father shortly after. Ariel's father sold the ranch a year after the divorce and was able to find a desk job in Chicago, Illinois at an insurance company that allowed him to support Ariel, his new wife, and Ariel's stepbrother. Ariel had been an only child so she had a hard time adjusting to having a step-brother, and she doesn't have a very good relationship with him or his mom. Her relationship with her dad is now strained because Ariel felt as though he got remarried too soon. She was never able to talk about the devastation of selling the ranch and her beloved horses, or her mom's affair and the divorce. She doesn't talk to her mom anymore except for a phone call on the holidays. She'd been home-schooled when she first moved to Chicago, but she soon was put into regular school because her dad felt like she was becoming a shut-in, which wasn't the case. But Ariel wasn't eighteen so she couldn't say no, so she soon went to the local high school. She's been going there for a week and has kept to herself, so it will be surprising if anyone even knows who she is if they see her outside of school. ------------------------------------------------- THE PERSON BEHIND THIS WONDERFUL CHARACTER IS GENERALLY CALLED POE AND SITS AT 17. SHE LIVES IN THE EASTERN TIMEZONE. ALSO, THIS CHARACTER LOOKS PRETTY SIMILAR TO CADY GROVES, DON'T YOU THINK?
